What parts should I choose?

This is a difficult question to answer because its all up to you and your budget. The lowest selection of every category on our builds will likely be sufficient for basic use cases. But here are some details on specific parts for you to understand if an upgrade might be worth it:

• GPU: This is the most important component when it comes to performance in gaming, 3d rendering, and other visually intensive tasks on your computer. In general if you want more FPS or faster render times its worth upgrading this first and stretching your budget as much as possible to get the best GPU.

• Memory/Ram: Most tasks will not require more than 32gb of ram in todays landscape. If you are someone who needs more ram you would likely already know this, For gaming and 99% of typical use I reccomend 16-32gb of ram.

• Storage: This is important if your someone who likes to download alot of games, store large files, store alot of pictures, or do anything else that requires large file size. Its relatively self explanatory and if your someone whos always running out of storage then its a good idea to upgrade to future proof your build.

Why should I choose ProStar Prebuilds?

Prostar Prebuilds is a small custom PC building business. All parts will be sourced BRAND NEW. While you can most definetly find cheaper builds with the same specs second hand on ebay or other sites, you will be taking a risk with what you recieve. All my computers are extensively tested and since all components are new, it is likely to last much longer and will certainly be in better condition than any second hand PC.

Every single computer in our lineup is suitable for the task its designed for. You dont have to worry about being ripped off by getting 1 stick of ram, or a cheap power supply bought in bulk. Every option on our customization page is thoughtfully crafted so that whatever meets your budget will still be ideally configured and last for years! Not only that but you will be supporting a small business who only charges a slight building fee and is not trying to maximize profit by selling old inventory or whatever other tactic the bigger companies use to cut costs.

How does ordering a computer work?

Ordering a custom computer with ProStar Prebuilds is quite simple. Go to our store and choose whichever base configuration looks best for your budget. From there you can simply choose whatever options you like to customize your computer. Once you pick all the options you like and place your order I will reach out with a few more specific visual options. There are many different “SKUs” of individual components and I want to make sure you get to choose exactly which ones fit your taste. Then I get to work sourcing all the components brand new and within a couple days I will have built and tested your system. Then I package and send it off for you to enjoy!

How long will it take?

Sourcing components, building, and testing the computer will only take a few days. Once thats done add in a few more days to 1 week for shipping and your new computer will arrive.

Additionally, due to how heavy finished computers can be sometimes there is damage from shipping. Its very frustrating how poorly packages get treated sometimes, but thats why I purchase insurance on every shipped computer. What is Prostar Prebuilds experience/credentials?

Prostar prebuilds is not a new project of mine. I have been selling custom computers for over 5 years now and have sold many different systems. I started by selling on ebay but have shifted to my own store to allow myself more freedom and allow the customer more customization options and better service.
